High Five for Friday, I shared a sneak peak of today's recipe. If you recall, the first item on my fall bucket list included baking pumpkin bread! After trying the Trader Joe's Pumpkin Bread a couple weeks ago, I wasn't completely satisfied. Don't get me wrong, Trader Joe's is wonderful, but I'm picky and the bread needed something more. To spice it up, I added some bananas. I'm a firm believer that bananas add the perfect touch of sweetness to any recipe. If you don't believe me, go ahead and try it!
Trader Joe's Pumpkin Bread Mix
1 Cup of Water
1/2 Cup of Vegetable Oil
2 Ripe Bananas
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
1. Grease the bread dish with baking spray
2. Mix the water, oil, eggs and pumpkin bread mix together.
3. Stir the ingredients for 1-2 minutes or until smooth.
4. Mash 2 bananas in separate bowl and then mix in other ingredients.
5. Pour mixed ingredients into the bread dish.
6. Bake bread for 50 minutes and then let sit for 5 minutes.
Insert toothpick and check if it's clean before pulling out of the oven.
If you're even the slightest fan of banana bread, try this recipe! The banana helps take away the strong pumpkin spice and gives a sweeter taste. The Trader Joe's Pumpkin Bread mix is easy to use and only requires a couple ingredients. Whether you're a beginner or expert in baking, this recipe is hard to mess up. Just make sure to let the bread cool off for a few hours before slicing into, the bread will stick together once cooled. No one wants a crumbly slice of bread, trust me, I learned the first time.
