Words of Wisdom Wednesday #6
Happy October! It's officially fall and that means one thing in my book, pumpkin flavored everything. Pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkins pie, pumpkin milkshakes...etc. I know everyone loves pumpkin spice lattes, but I don't know the ingredients...and being so picky, I'm a bit hesitant. Here's my logic: I don't like coffee. Pumpkin spice lattes are sold at coffee shops. Does it have coffee in it? I'm not sure and too lazy to google it, thus I will never know. Until then, I will be happily snacking away on some pumpkin muffins from a bakery close to my work. A bit dangerous I know, but they're undeniably delicious.

While today's quotes aren't full of wisdom, they're meant to help you get excited for fall! In some areas, fall has already begun. In Texas, it's slowly starting to cool down. Now I'm not a total fan of the cold weather, but I do enjoy the look of colored leaves and feel of warm sweaters. You don't see too many of the leaves changing colors in Austin, so I'm starting to miss Pennsylvania and the beautiful scenery. And I can't forget the fun of jumping in piles of leaves. With fall coming alive, you can finally play outside, enjoy the comfortable weather, and no longer worry about melting away. It's a beautiful transition and you might as well make the most it, right?

Happy Wednesday and enjoy the rest of your week!

  1. I'm not really into the whole pumpkin flavored everything. I mean, I love pumpkin, but I love pumpkin pie this best that I save all of my love for that. A latte is an espresso-based drink (as opposed to coffee), FYI! One of the things I love about living in Virginia is getting to see the changing colors. Fall is a beautiful time of year here.

  2. Pumpkin pie is definitely my favorite too, and probably the only thing I eat during Thanksgiving!
Thanks for the latte info, I'm going to have to convince myself to buy one very soon.
You're going to have to take lots of photos when the leaves start changing colors!

Thanks for reading, you've really made my day!
